Irish Soda Bread, The Pogues and St Patrick’s Day in Cleveland.
At this time last year I’d uploaded just my 2nd blog post. It was a photo of Chef Tim O’Malley and his yummy recipe for Irish Soda Bread. Click here to see the portrait of the chef and the bread.
This time around I’ll be stalking Cleveland’s Pogues tribute band, The Boys from the County Hell, as they help our town celebrate St. Paddy’s Day with a marathon run of three shows: 9am (yes) to noon at the House of Blues, 1-8 at Flannery’s and 9-2 am (yes) at The Harp. It will be a long, fun day stomping to what I call Irish Punk-Folk, played by a band that nails the genre and leaves its audience weeping and wailing for more.
Check my blog on Thursday for a wrap-up of the day.
